Together with the development partner BAPPENAS – the Indonesian Development Planning Agency, the GIZ-supported project SUTIP supports the vision of the future Indonesia Urban Transport in large cities such as Jakarta as the capital city. One of the data needed is data on the movement / origin of the destination of the goods. The data on the origin of the destination for transportation of goods illustrates DEMAND of movement of goods in society. The data is used as material for analysis to formulate transportation policies in an effort to facilitate the demand for the movement of goods.
The transportation policies were used to improve transportation equipment as a form of intervention (change) from the SUPPLY side. Data from the destination of goods transportation is used in the analysis of transportation policies in order to create a smooth (fast), cheap, safe, energy efficient and environmentally friendly movement of goods.
