Survey Bali – Systra
With the urgency of reliable and efficient transport system in Bali for supporting internal and external traffic, Gilimanuk – Mengwi Toll is plan to be developed.
This Survey Report is aims to describe the two important survey for the planning namely, Road Side Interview and Traffic Count.
Data collection is an imporant step for research or project, mainly as a part of a broad methodology for the study. Data collection with survey usually perform for capturing the actual situation within the scope of the project/study. Since the Gilimanuk – Mengwi Toll Road will result impact to the mobility within Bali, the survey need to capture the behavior of the currect/existing transport users consist of passenger and goods transport that potentiall will use the toll road.
The Road Side Interview survey was carried out at predetermined location points. The RSI survey was conducted with a total of 35 surveyors, but at the time of implementation there were only 28 people for the total target of the respondents. Which is 2,250 people. While for Traffic Counting there are 11 people to calculate the volume of vehicles that pass from CCTV recordings that have been guarded by surveyors and have been installed at predetermined location points.
- This survey was conducted with the aim of obtaining suggestions and input on the plan for the Gili Manuk – Mengwi Toll Road.
- The overall target respondents are Vehicle Users with a total of 2,250 respondents.
- Respondents are Users of Motorized Cars/Motorcycle and Goods Transportation Passing Roads in the Province of Bali
- Traffic Counting is carried out through the results of CCTV recordings that have been installed and recorded.
Post survey is the step to evaluate the data collection. This done to maintain the quality of the data and identify if there is need more data collection. After data inputted, the coordinators check the reliability and completeness of the survey. Moreover, after series of data re-check, the dataset for each of the survey also collected and stored in the drive, therefore, can be practically access everywhere and anytime.
WHEREAS
- BUJT – Badan Usaha Jalan Tol is developing the 96.84 km Gilimanuk – Mengwi Toll Road project (the “Project”).
- The Client has appointed SYSTRA as traffic advisor and signed a contract with the Client (the “Main Contract”).
- SYSTRA, in the performance of the Main Contract, wishes to procure the services of a Consultant to perform Traffic Survey Services.
- The Consultant has theappropriateskills, knowledge and competence to provide the services required by SYSTRA and is willing and able to perform the services to be conferred under this Agreement
